Beijing’s Water Cube Olympic Pool Turns Into A Water Park

I hope you still remember the really pretty and inspiring Water Cube which is the icon in Beijing Olympic Games way back in 2008.

Today, the Water Cube now has slides, rides, a wave pool and spa, letting it to become Asia’s largest aqueous amusement park, not a national aquatics center anymore.

The Water Cube was once a battleground for Olympic swimmers, and after the Olympic Games ended, the Chinese government transformed it into a water park. The project took nearly a year and with a price tag of around 350 million yuan (about $51 million USD). So, the transformation is completed and the new Water Cube opened its doors to the public on August 8.

The water park features a wave pool, lazy river, spa area and 13 water slides and rides. Visitors just need to spend $200 yuan (about $29) for an admission ticket while kids can get in for $160 yuan (about $23). I believe many tourists would visit this amazing place during a holiday trip in Beijing. For more details of the water park, head up to source link below.
