In a new research note from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Kuo predicts Apple will ship at least 20 million units of the next-generation iPhone SE next year. The device is expected to feature a 4.7-inch LCD display, iPhone 8-like design with a Home Button, Touch ID, 3GB RAM, and a single-lens rear camera. It’s expected to be priced at $399.
Scheduled for release in March 2020, Apple’s new 4.7-inch smartphone is now commonly referred to as the iPhone SE 2. However, most experts and users do not believe that the official name of the smartphone will be so. And for good reason. iPhone SE 2 is the perfect name for a smartphone.
The main reason why users are skeptical about the name “iPhone SE 2” is that the smartphone will not be compact like iPhone SE. It is already known that the model will get a 4.7-inch display against the 4-inch screen of the original iPhone SE.
According to numerous leaks, the upcoming smartphone will be the same iPhone 8, but with improved features. The novelty will have a 4.7-inch LCD screen, a body like the “eight”, a 12-megapixel camera, support for fast charging, but a more modern A13 bionic processor.
And now remember that in 2016, Apple released the original iPhone SE, which similarly became an improved version of the iPhone 5s. iPhone SE was just a copy of the iPhone 5s, but with a more powerful processor and an advanced camera. Similarly, the iPhone SE 2 will turn out to be an updated version of the iPhone 8.
