Google and Apple Respects Taiwan Authority Over App Refund Policy [UPDATED]

After an explosion happened at Foxconn’s Chengdu plant last week, the latest news today is an employee at the Chengdu assembly plant leaped to his death from a dormitory building on the grounds of the industrial base on Thursday 1am (May 26) without specifying the reason, said a person familiar with the matter…

Bloody Incident Happened in Beijing Apple Store (video!)

This. Is. Sad. Here’s the story. Apple’s white iPhone 4 has been restocked today in Beijing Apple Store, and just like always, dozens of scalpers wait outside the store to get the white iPhone 4, and they were told to wait in line. However, the scalpers were later told that they are not allowed to go inside the store. So scalpers got pissed, and they got in a fight with the securities, and quarreled with some Apple store employees. At this time, an Apple Store employee (non-Chinese), John, came out from the store with a metal club and hit 4 people, including 2 young men and 2 middle age women. Then, John went back to the store. More scalpers got pissed and they smashed the glass door of the store, which costs about 300,000 yuan ($46,000). So this caused the store to temporarily shut down.
