In few days ago, a fire disaster in Shanghai caused 53 people dead and more than 70 injured. A restaurant in Shanghai decided to donate its turnover of the day for charity to mourn for the fire victims.
This is horrible. A huge fire has broken out in an apartment block in Shanghai today afternoon. The fire is reportedly 10 stories high and the building has turned completely black within 2 hours. Bits and pieces are falling off from time to time, and people are jumping from the building to escape the fire. More than 80 fire trucks were called to the scene and we have several videos here showing the incident.
Thanks for the hard work of labors and congratulation to China for this massive establishment. China has now got the longest high-speed railway in the world, ranged from Beijing, the Chinese capital to Shanghai, the country’s eastern economic hub.
Leading European electronics retailer Media Markt is opening its first Asian store in China this month, November 17. The first Media Markt China store will open in Shanghai, it will expand to 9-11 stores in several cities of China by the end of 2011. Foxconn is their local joint venture partner, both companies teamed up in a US$200 million joint venture, president Terry Guo and Metro CEO Eckhard Cordes have just attended an opening ceremony this week in Shanghai.

The crappy Shanghai World Expo 2010 is finally coming to an end. We hate the to see the Chinese visitors doing ridiculous stuff in the Expo, and we do not know how much nonsense we have reported. It’s time to dig the worst stuff out and let you know Shanghai Expo is actually an awful place to visit. Here are the worst moments we love.
On Thursday, four driveless vans travelled a long way from Italy to China, successfully finished its 8,000 miles trip. Those vans equipped seven video cameras combined with solar powered laser scanners work together to detect and avoid obstacles. The idea of the vans are experimenting automotive technology and also improving road safety.
Apple’s new online store in China is not only the easiest way to shop online for Apple products, but also the best way for scalpers to get iPhone 4. So, the scalpers just won’t quit. First they caused the Beijing Apple store to close. Next they force Apple to triple the store’s security. Now China online Apple store stated that the iPhone 4 has been sold out, within 10 hours. You have to blame the scalpers for this.
We can have delicious dish of crabs in restaurant, but now you have to know that crabs can be bought through a vending machine. You might already come up with an issue straight away, is the crab fresh? The company claimed those crabs are kept in the machine at 5-10 degrees Celsius, just to make sure the crabs are in a state of hibernation. Moreover, they will have staffs to check on those machine 3-4 times each day. If there’s any bad crabs were bought by people, they can ring up the company for compensation. The most funny thing is these crabs are guaranteed for freshness, and a sign on the machine states that if your crab is dead, you get three free ones for your trouble. Updated with video.
Yeah, it’s great to hear this. In today’s Apple’s Mac and OS X event, we see the state of the Mac. It’s awesome to know that there are 50 million Mac users around the world, 318 Stores in 11 countries where there’s 4 in China now, two at Beijing and two at Shanghai. Guess what, the stores in China are the highest traffic of any Apple stores. That makes a statement.
