The very first Apple store has finally landed in Hong Kong. The store was opened on Saturday and we had attended the opening ceremony. Thousands of fans have poured in, enthusiasts had camped out over 30 hours to secure a place at the head of the line and be among the first to walk-in to the first Apple store in town. They were greeted with high fives and chants of ” Apple, Apple ! ” by the blue shirt employees. We had a live coverage report yesterday, and we had captured all the special moment and behind the scene, photo gallery after the break !
C’mon guys — Hong Kong finally gets its FIRST Apple Store. It’s the priciest Apple Store in the world, spanning six lanes of traffic and two floors of Hong Kong’s IFC building. The blue-shirted Apple service army is ready to answer your every i-question in there. A grand opening is set for the store, and the only thing you’ll get for camping out early if you’re among the first 5,000 people through the doors is a red T-shirt featuring an Apple logo. Today, China’s largest Apple store officially opens its doors in Shanghai. Previously, we’ve got a sneak peek inside the store, and now there’s a grand opening. 300 Apple employees and over 500 hundred people were there to celebrate the grand opening, and here we have a photo gallery of the unforgettable moment. The new Shanghai Apple store is a monster. It is big, huge and massive. It’s the biggest Apple store in China. It’s a five-story retail store and the Genius Bar dominated one of the levels. The store contains up to 300 Apple employees. So, here we have plenty of photos to see exactly what Apple has in store for its 40,000+ Chinese customers each day.
It’s official. Apple has just announced the very first Hong Kong Apple store will be opening on this coming Saturday (September 24th). There will be a grand opening ceremony at 9am morning, and all preparation are ready. We will have more pictures and coverage in this post. Stay tuned for more updates!
