Much of the spotlights are focusing on the latest smartphone and electronic devices at Mobile World Congress over in Barcelona. Unfortunately, we don’t see the Chinese superstar Xiaomi’s latest M2 at the show, but it seems like the company is working on the next gen Xiaomi phone with Foxconn right now. The photo above is allegedly taken inside the factory, which is believed to be one of the prototypes of Xiaomi M3 comparing with Xiaomi M2 back cover. Having a 5-inch or bigger display is certainly going to happen, but it’s unlikely to see a fancy glowing LED Xiaomi’s logo at the back cover as previous concept shot showed. There’s another M3 prototype leaked on the Chinese internet as well, but it looks totally different from what you see above. Check it out after the break to see which one you prefer.

This time, it’s not just a press shot. Like the Ascend P1, Huawei Ascend P2 have attempted to create the same buzz around their slender build. Also, it seems the P2 will feature on-screen back and home buttons just like D2. Rumors suggested the device is 8.6mm thick, or maybe thinner than that. It will boast a 4.7-inch Full HD display with an industry leading 468ppi pixel density, which is also expected to see on HTC upcoming M7. Ascend P2 will have similar specs as its brother Ascend D2, with a homegrown 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a sharp 13-megapixel rear shooter, and runs Huawei’s custom Android 4.1.2. Other details include 8GB of onboard storage with memory expansion slot and a 2,200 mAh battery. Huawei Ascend P2 is the company’s third flagship phone of this year after the reveal of the 6.1-inch Ascend Mate and the 5-inch Ascend D2. Reportedly, the phone is priced at around 3,000 yuan (USD$484). Two more photos after the break.

Smartphone makers are getting insane of making 5-inch smartphone with 1080p display, so it should come as no surprise that China’s ZTE is, too. Call it “Nubia Z5″. It’s pretty similar to HTC Butterfly (known as HTC Droid DNA in U.S.) and Oppo Find 5 that opted a 5-inch Full HD display, quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdrago S4 Pro APQ8064 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Rumors are saying ZTE’s Nubia Z5 will have a slim chassis measured at 7.6mm in thickness, meaning it should be thinner than OPPO Find 5 and HTC Butterfly! Isn’t that exciting?

We like the new MacBook Air a lot. It’s ulltra-thin, powerful and affordable. Any alternatives? Perhaps yes. Looks like Acer is working on its lightweight laptop division, making a 0.51-inch thick Aspire 3951 (a.k.a. Hummingbird) in aluminum body. It’s definitely thinner than the almighty MacBook Air, and we think it may be the best MacBook Air knockoff yet. Why? We all first thought this was a Thunderbolt MacBook Air…
Okay, we obviously can’t confirm this, but we just got a very interesting image of what certainly looks like a MacBook Air with a new hinge design. More details after the jump!
UPDATE: No new design is seen on the new MacBook Air.
