Looks like the Los Angeles police dislike knock-offs. Recently, LA cops have busted a warehouse full of knock-offs, including fake iPods, iPhones and PSPs. The knockoffs were imported from Asia (probably China), and they were supposedly going to be sold around CES, duping consumers into thinking they were buying real Apple products for a waaaay lower price. What’s more, the cops also reportedly found receipts in the warehouse, along with other stolen and counterfeit goods, that pointed to the whole operation generating more than $7 million in profits. The end? Two dudes were arrested.
Surprisingly, the knockoff makers are still trying to imitate the Sony PSP but the knockoff comes up with something different this time. The knockoff still has a similar look as the original PSP, but it can be used as a mobile phone. This is something that Sony doesn’t have on their product. The knockoff is coming soon to the market and it could be a great competitor to other PSP knockoffs.
