Last week, Amazon launched its ebook store in China and began to sell Chinese electronic books via its mobile Kindle application on iOS and Android devices. However, there were reports emerged saying local authorities have started investigating the company’s right to sell e-books in the country, since Amazon does not have a license from publishing authorities for e-book operations.
This is a turly WTF …
A Chinese comic company has just released the very first China superhero character, known as CAPTAIN CHINA. The red communist super hero is certainly a knockoff from Marvel Captain America. He is carrying a vintage pistol manufactured by the Soviet Communist Party, not the indestructible shield made in USA. When President Obama visited China, he has protected his safety. And yes, this CAPTAIN CHINA was frozen during Mao’s era and reborn in the future. And surprisingly, you can get this horrible Chinese superhero comic book in Kindle edition at Amazon. We got a 12 pages preview after the break, LOL … UPDATE: More inside info on this comic …
When you think of Amazon you will think e-commerce and Kindle. Today, Amazon is going to expand its business in China. The company is reportedly talking to the Chinese government about selling its Kindle products in the country, and they are not only concerned with the speed to the Chinese market but also with Chinese user needs. And guess what, the company also rolled out a significant change to its Chinese site.
According to a new report, Foxconn has just received an order for producing Amazon’s rumored 10.1-inch tablet, with shipments to begin in 2012 at the earnest. Foxconn, as we know, is the manufacturer behind Amazon’s widely popular Kindle e-readers, so that’s not exactly big news.
Last week, the world E-PAPER conference & electronic reader expo was held in Shenzhen. Different kinds of e-book readers were displayed and most of them look just like a Kindle knockoff. Surprisingly, the super size iPhone we have talked about made an appearance at there and it looks incredible.
I hope this is just a joke, a Kindle wannabe built-in with Windows Mobile to display e-books and other digital media. OMG…
