The rubber pair of foot adornments doesn’t comes with USB port or Bluetooth compatibility, but it can functioned as a massager to relax your feet. It is selling dirt cheap for $7.8 yuan (USD$1.23) in China right now, over at taobao online store. We’re properly seeing a knock-off here …
Tablets like the iPad are quickly sneaking up on laptops as the preferred device for surfing the web while traveling. But one of the biggest drawbacks to the functionality of the iPad is its lack of a real keyboard. Typing anything longer than a Facebook status or a Tweet on your iPad can seem frustrating. Asus has introduced the new TF700T Android tablet, a new variant of its Eee Pad Transformer Prime, whose major upgrade is a move to a 1920 x 1200 screen resolution. That makes two Android tablets moving to a 1080p res, following Acer’s Iconia Tab A700. Another significant upgrade is in the tablet’s rear cover design, which has been altered to allow for better GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth performance. We just love to see Chinese workers taking a stand against long hours of working and poor working conditions. Recently, workers at a factory in southern China that supplies parts to Apple and IBM, including keyboards, went on strike with complaints of grueling overtime requirements. Still remember the Asus Eee Pad Transformer that has an optional keyboard dock to turn itself into a full-fledged notebook? It’s a pretty awesome Honeycomb tablet, and today, it gets ripped off by the Chinese knockoff makers. Introducing Trustime, a 10.1″ tablet that runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb and has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It has similar guts to the Transformer — widescreen (1280 x 800) display, 1GB of memory, and dual cameras (1.2MP and 5MP). The difference? It does not transform with a keyboard dock. Virtual keyboard is the way to enable typing on a mobile phone while preserving a large display for browsing. The iPhone which released in 2007, ushered in virtual keyboards as the default for smartphones. Since then, physical keyboards are fading out (may be not for those Blackberry die-hard users).
