China’s third largest carrier, China Telecom, is reportedly gearing up for the launch of the iPhone 5, and they are setting aside 1.5 billion yuan (about $234.5 million) in marketing expenses for the iPhone 5 launch. China Telecom is now training staff members, and preparing in-store advertising as it gets ready to start taking orders as soon as the end of September. What’s more, vendors from the major cell phone street market in Shenzhen is already accepting pre-orders for iPhone 5. OMG.
Whoa, looks like Apple is putting a lot of attention on China’s fake Apple products. According to Patently Apple, the latest 37 design patents that were granted to Apple in China concern the iOS, MacBook Air, iPod nano and Shanghai Apple store. So, if the knockoff makers have any intentions on copying the design of any of these stuff, they will definitely get SUED by Apple.
Previously, we had seen smuggling cases like dealers “smuggling” the iPhone 4s through subway and flying smuggled iPad in the air. And today, we are going to tell you even “baby” is one of the tools that utilized by smugglers to earn money!
Here’s the story. Six months ago, a Chinese man from Hangzhou spent 5000 yuan ($780) to purchase an iPhone 4. Last month, he was on a phone call with his iPhone. It only lasts 10 minutes. When he finished his call, the iPhone suddenly became extremely hot. Then, it exploded. The back glass panel shattered. So he brought it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
iPhone 5 is accepting pre-order — This is what the ad says, it showed up outside of an authorized Apple reseller in Dalian, Liaoning province, Northeast China. We all know iPhone 5 still hasn’t launch yet, however you would probably get confuse when you see this ad if you had heard of the German phone carrier Deutsche Telekom had already began to accept pre-order for the iPhone 5. But the German phone carrier didn’t reveal any specific details about the release dates and the specs. Bigger pic after the break.

Remember the Angry Birds game booth that we had spotted in Guangzhou China? Maybe that is not exciting enough. We are going to introduce you another real-life, giant-size Angry Birds arcade booth. The game booth can be found in a Chinese theme park which is located at Changsha, the capital city of Hunan, in south-central China. However, the game is not authorized by Rovio though.
