Previously, we have seen the crazy prices of iPhone 4 in the gray market of HK. And now, we are shocked that the price tag has went up from $14,800 HKD (about $1900) to $19,800 HKD (about $2545), and that’s a 32GB version from UK…
iPhone 4 is available in Hong Kong right now. The gray market is selling it at a much higher price than we thought. It costs $11000-12000 HKD (about $1480) for 16GB version, and $13000 HKD (about $1670) for 32GB. No kidding, some Apple fanboys are still willing to pay at this ridiculous price…

While plenty of iPhone 4’s are showing up on people’s doorsteps with FedEx trucks, we have a smart guy here pretending he’s got one too. He shared his photo of iPhone 4 on his Sina microblog and this attracts thousands of fans to check out his status. You may ask, where did he get that fake iPhone 4 which looks so bloody real?
Finally, the iPhone 4 knockoff is available for sale, in the gray market of Hong Kong. Available in two flavors, the “4G+” and “4G mini”, just for $980 HKD (about $143) and $780 HKD (about $114) respectively.
No kidding, Foxconn CEO’s little brother is planning to open 100 Apple retail outlets in China, within three years time. The two brothers, may join forces together to build the best Apple Premium Reseller store and transform tech gadgets into Louis Vuitton.
The iPhone 4 will go on sale June 24 in the United States and four other countries including Japan. For Hong Kong, the device will be available in early-July at the gray market. According to one of the shop owners in Hong Kong, about 50-100 of iPhone 4 will be in stock and they start from $7000 HKD (about $900). Also, the price of 3GS will not be reduced in the gray market, NOT AT ALL.
Looks like not everyone is happy to see the new product’s announcement from Apple. Some protesters in Hong Kong show up and accuse Apple and Foxconn for their poor corporate ethics after a recent spate of suicides at the Shenzhen factory in China. About 30 demonstrators gather outside a hotel function room where HK Foxconn having their shareholders meeting. They were waving a cardboard cutout of Steve Jobs with devil’s horns and another placard featuring the company logo and the words “Bloody Apple”. Later they went to one of the Apple shop and laid white flowers in a tribute to the dead workers. Click in to watch the video.

Cases on smuggling Apple iPad to China from Hong Kong have been increased. According to Guangzhou Daily news report, starting from April, Shenzhen Customs has track down 309 cases regarding travelers carrying iPad into China mainland, and a total of 394 iPads has been spotted. 59 cases are suspected to be illegal smuggling, among all cases, one China citizen has carried 7 iPads without declaration.

As we know, Apple has not yet officially launched the iPad in China. At the moment, most of the retailers in China get their iPad stocks from the gray market. Most of the stocks come from the gray market in Hong Kong. So far, these unofficial iPad sales which take place in China are not doing well. China consumers are not getting very excited on Apple’s latest product, and according to China Business News report, there are several reasons behind the scenes.
At the moment, Foxconn’s CEO, Gou Tai-ming, had arrived Shenzhen, China. He is inside his hell factory right now to solve out the terrible suicide tragedy. Before he departure from Taiwan, he told the press that they are going to invite a lot of press media from Taiwan to visit the factory in Shenzhen, including the international press as well.
