Here it comes, the OPPO Find 5! The successor of OPPO Find 3 and it’s an Android behemoth with 5-inch 1080p display. The screen looks sharp and bright with 441ppi, the chassis is beautifully made. Under the hood, it packs a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip with 2GB of RAM, which is more than powerful enough to run its Android 4.1.2 Jelly smoothly. Other specs include a 13MP built-in camera that supports 120 fps slow motion 480p video recording, a hefty 2,500mAh battery and also comes with NFC capacity. Say hello to Huawei Ascend D2, the company’s first 5-inch smartphone. It’s slightly smaller than the 6.1-inch Huawei Ascend Mate, but its specs sheet is more endearing than the giant phone. The Huawei Ascend D2 crams a 5-inch 1080p display with a crazy high density of 443 ppi and it has a Huawei’s K3V2 quad-core processor that maxes out at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on board storage under the hood. No card slot for expansion. There is a sharp and fast 13-megapixel camera positioned on its back and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter enables video conversations. You’ll find a beefy 3,000mAh battery that allegedly to provide two-days of battery life. Also, the phone will come with Huawei’s Emotion UI, an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-based custom ROM, by default.
Meizu has finally announced its second generation Meizu MX, aka “Meizu MX2”, at a grand ceremony in Beijing WaterCube, and we have a hands-on video to give you a quick glimpse at the device, which will show the comparison between Meizu MX 2, iPhone 5 and Xiaomi Mi-Two. We are glad that Huawei brought its biggest guns to CES 2012, and grabs the title of world’s slimmest smartphone with their Ascend P1 S. The P1 S features a 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD 960 x 540 touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass, and ships with Google’s latest Android flagship Ice Cream Sandwich onboard. The device is, according to Huawei, “impossibly thin”, measuring just 6.68mm versus 9.3mm for the iPhone 4S, and 7.1mm for the Motorola Razr. The Chinese mobile maker OPPO, is a manufacturer of digital devices including MP3 and BluRay players. They have made a few cellphones featuring music playback which were received well enough to make them try out an Android smartphone. According to reports, Leonardo DiCaprio was paid a staggering $5 million (not RMB) to feature in the commercials.
