
1,001 volunteers in Shanghai came together in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for ‘human mattress dominoes’. The idea was to have people and mattresses line up and fall on top of each other like dominoes. Each participant was wielding a radio with one hand and clutching his vertical mattress with the other. The mattresses falling took 10 minutes to finish, officially crushing the previous record held by a hotel chain in the United States. A team of 80 chefs from Shangri-La in Pudong, an area of Shanghai managed to break one of the Guinness World Record…and that’s the longest cake in the world. The team gradually baked a cake for 7 days in order to assemble a length of 1068 meters, making it becomes world’s longest Christmas cake. The cake is made out of 904 of eggs, 1045 kg of flours, 209 kg of sugars, 401 kg of dark chocolate and 34 kg of vanilla. What a massive production…
