Similar to what Rovio has done to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival, Starbucks has introduced its mooncakes (a type of Chinese pastry to celebrate the festival) in China. They come in 3 flavors — Chocolate, coffee, and green tea. Watch its TV ad after the break!
The fast food chain giant McDonald’s reportedly had increased some of its prices in the region of mainland China. Apparently, it is due to the increase of labor and material costs that caused by inflation. Although we still haven’t heard of the other fast food providers that based in China are planning to follow, but presumably is very likely.
In Taiwan, a female blogger with surname “Liu” was sent to jail by the court in view of her critical restaurant review on her blog. The accuse was made by the restaurant owner (Yang) who found out his restaurant was being criticized on the internet from a customer.
I bet you’ve heard about Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg slaughtering his own food. It sounds crazy, but we have to accept the fact that the social media baron eat only what he kills. And so far, Zuckerberg has killed a chicken, pig and goat and one day, he will be an animal hunter. Probably is not a good choice to trust any ingredient list on food packages in China, because it often does not refer to what they promised. Here is an incident that happened with steam buns in Shanghai. Last night on CCTV, an investigation report exposed a video of how the bun manufacturer produces buns by mixing up with the expired buns and some mystical chemicals.
The 10th Macau Food Festival began on the Nov 5 until Nov 21, last for 17 consecutive days in Sai Van Lake Square. This fabulous activity brings food from around the world and exciting entertainment to local residents and vistors in Macau. Check out some pictures of the festival after the break.

The cartoon was found in Zone B of the expo ground. The food served in the canteen is fine however the price is three to four times of the original price. Muslim visitors would have to pay more for their foods inside the expo unless they are not going to have halal food. Poor Muslim.
