In 2010, Apple announced a plan of opening 25 stores in China by the end of 2012. Today, Apple has five retail stores in China, two in Beijing, three in Shanghai, but none in South China region where major cities such as Shenzhen and Chengdu are located. Since there are always huge crowds gathering outside the China Apple stores, Apple definitely need more points of sale in the country to disperse the crowds (especially scalpers). A Chinese artist from Dalian city, Northeast China, has created some very nice and unique artwork with his camera and photoshop skill. The Chinese commuters which are ‘floating’ on the road made us wondering when we will obtain access to some awesome invisible bikes of our own. This is not a photoshopped work, it’s real. A group of college students from Dalian, a major city at Northeast China, recently shot their graduation photos against a unique backdrop, their school building engulfed in flames. The university is located next to a warehouse. The warehouse caught fire and the flames spread to a student dormitory nearby. Many students first had the opportunity to use the burning dorm as the background for their graduation photos. Chinese Zither, also known as Gu-Zheng, is a traditional Chinese musical instrument usually made of phoenix tree wood. It has a rectangle sound box and a surface in a curve with 21 tight strings. The common performance technique of Gu-Zheng is to pluck the strings with the thumb, index finger and middle finger of the player’s right hand, with his left hand pulling the strings. What the fxxk is going on? Dalian? Well apparently, Apple has started putting posters of its upcoming China flagship store in a shopping center called Parkland Mall at Dalian, a rich Chinese city with a lot of investment coming from Korea and Japan. However, due to competition in shopping centres, another shopping center called Dalian Department Store is jealous of Parkland Mall for having an Apple Store. So, the Dalian Department Store sent its security team to push down the Apple Store posters outside the Parkland Mall. For more details, check out the photos and videos after the break.
UPDATE: According to local journalists, some Apple retail managers have arrived Dalian to solve the matter. And Apple is looking forward to build the store successfully in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Meanwhile, both security teams are negotiating.
iPhone 5 is accepting pre-order — This is what the ad says, it showed up outside of an authorized Apple reseller in Dalian, Liaoning province, Northeast China. We all know iPhone 5 still hasn’t launch yet, however you would probably get confuse when you see this ad if you had heard of the German phone carrier Deutsche Telekom had already began to accept pre-order for the iPhone 5. China’s first aircraft carrier set out on a low-profile sea trial, its first journey under the Chinese flag. The vessel was refitted from a former Soviet Navy aircraft carrier, departed from the port of Dalian, a major city and seaport in Liaoning province, Northeast China. While the ship was preparing to go for its first sea trail, swarms of spectators flew to the city of Dalian this week to get a view of the conventionally fueled ship. Global journalists also gathered nearby for interviews and shoot footage of China’s first aircraft carrier. China is the third asia country to own an aircraft carrier, followed with India and Thailand. The pick of a disarmed Russian vessel as China’s first aircraft carrier seems somewhat low-key, but the carrier’s sea trial signifies a new era for China’s navy …
