A New Malware Threats Mac-Using Chinese Activists

A new backdoor trojan malware are being originated to attack mac-using activists in China. The targets of the backdoor are Uighur activists, who use both Intel and old PowerPC-based Apple Macs but running Windows. The malware is based on the established MaControl (or MacControl) APT, it masquerades as a picture attachment in an email which embedded tools that allow attackers gather information and issue remote commands.
