Shenzhen’s manufacture had tried to provide us with a bigger and fatter knockoff iPhone, but it is crap. Rather than that, we spotted another knockoff iPhone with Android 2.1 and also remain the iPhone UI, this does sound a lot more interesting.
Prior to the presence of this clone, we had already spotted a Huawei mobile with a similar design of HTC Tattoo. We are not so sure what this clone is providing us. But, the back of it has the Android Robot logo, does this imply it will run Android?
Does it looks like HTC Tattoo G4? This mobile is from Huawei, called U8110, installed with Android 2.1 but does not come with Android UI. Huawei has its own UI used on this phone and it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Aigo the MID manufacturer has introduced a new series of tablets, Aigopad, which made us take a second glance. According to the new details from Aigo, the best model is a 7-inch tablet which will hum along on a 800MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and a 4:3 aspect ratio display! A total of five models were surfaced and one of them is Maemo-based. What’s more, every single one of them cost less than $439.
Recently, there is another Sony XPERIA X10 knockoff out there. This time, the phone makers decided to add with a N97 Slider QWERTY Keyboard with a 3-inch display, which is just a little smaller to Sony XPERIA X10. It has an alike Android UI installed with but unfortunately it isn’t Android yet.
After the magical iPad’s first 60 days of availability on Earth, the knockoff makers have finally built the truly remarkable iPad wannabe which looks pretty awesome in many ways. It’s gonna be the next big thing, with its powerful Android OS.
UPDATE: More pics and info added.
This clone is definitely not providing us with the blazing fast speed of 3G searching but it includes a 2-megapixel camera, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, simply the basic stuff on mobile devices. So, what’s more ?
Android phone is not as dull as we thought. Here’s a Chinese sweetie using her Android phone to play and sing Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” song. It looks like this is the best musical performance so far, done by an Android phone. Watch the awesome video after the jump.
We can see Google’s Android is slowly dominating the mobile world. The crappy iPhone knockoffs in China are ready to support Android OS so users get lots of apps like Apple’s iPhone. With Android, the whole user experience on the iPhone wannabes would be much better since the Symbian-OS is not providing what we want today. Features like multi-touch support, web-browsing with Flash, downloading and installing a dozen of apps are what we really wish for on mobiles. Here we have the first iPhone knockoff powered with Android OS.
Malata is a Chinese manufacturer of DVD players and in the same time, a PC maker. At this year’s Computex, they have got a few tablets on show, joining the battle of tablet devices. Malata’s new tablets are powered by Windows 7 or Google’s Android and these iPad wannabes look interesting in different ways.
