“Shanzhai” is a term to describe Chinese imitation and pirated brands and goods, particularly electronics. Apparently, Shanzhai Bus means a “fake bus”, a fake route. In Shenzhen, some route is lacking of buses, therefore some unethical merchant have loopholes to exploit.
