Meizu, a Chinese electronics manufacturer who has a history of “borrowing” design ideas from Apple, has already opened a chain of retail stores in China after making huge profits on selling the M8 (first-gen iPhone clone) and the M9. 10 Million Chinese Users Are Using iPhones On 2G Network

China Mobile, the world’s largest carrier, has over 600 million wireless subscribers in China. According to Reuters reports, 10 million of these customers are iPhones’ user despite that China Mobile is not an official Apple partner. The iPhone in China isn’t currently compatible with China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network, meaning that these 10 million unofficial iPhone users are all limited to 2G data speeds.
