At the start of this month, we reported two smartphones from OPPO were leaked, including the R807 and Find 3. Two days ago, the company had finally revealed the official product images and information of their latest Find 3 Android smartphone. In terms of its specs, we would say this device is quite similar to Meizu MX and Xiaomi M1, also comes in the size of 4-inch, a dual-core processor and runs Android. A Shenzhen manufacturer showed a standalone Android 2.2 smartphone watch at CES this year, which combines smartphone and watch into one thing. Well, we are not surprised as this isn’t the first time that we see a standalone cell phone watch. Remember the 9,999 Yuan Android Tablet (Hongpaiyihao)? Its maker had finally explained why their product cost so much. They claimed all the pre-installed applications worth over 70% of the device’s original cost and they suggested making its tablet expensive would make it more like a high-end product. An unknown Chinese manufacturer launched a 9.7-inch Android tablet “Hongpaiyihao (Red Group Number One)” with a shocking 9,999 RMB (US$1,580) price tag, which is about twice the price of an iPad. The machine comes with a fancy leather case that’s embossed with in gold with the product’s name. The maker of this tablet emphasized this is “tailor-made for government officials”, this is insane…
Throughout this week, everyone were trying to keep themselves update with the latest electronics that unveiled at CES, and you (even us) might be panic right now as there are surprisingly many Chinese tech enterprises showed up at the tradeshow with lots of interesting tablets and smartphones, just like Huawei world’s thinnest smartphone and Lenovo’s ICS TV. Chinese chip maker Rockchip wants to make a splash in the U.S. and Europe market this year and drive down the prices of Android 4.0 tablets to under US$100. Lenovo has unveiled a full HD Android tablet for the Chinese market. The new IdeaPad K2010 run on a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and carry the same 1080p screen concept as the Iconia Tab A700. The tablet flaunts a 4-speaker surround sound system to complement the graphics capabilities. It runs Android 4.0 ICS operating system which is still under works with Lenovo. If we were to judge the tablets based on the early showings, we’d say this 10 inch tablet was a competent device with powerful hardware design, but the price and the software support will determine its market acceptance against Apple upcoming iPad 3 …

A few months back, Chinese manufacturer Huawei has launched the Huawei MediaPad which run Honeycomb and now the company has announced they are soon going to release the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update. We could tell that Huawei wanted to do something similar with their smartphone by offering Android 4.0. The new version 7 inch tablet with 3G connection is going to be available in black, brown and pink colors (back panel), will be released in the first quarter of 2012. Existing MediaPad owners will receive an over-the-air upgrade to their tablets. We expect the price of the new MeidaPad remain the same, not cheap for about US$400. CES live video after the break.

Asus has introduced the new TF700T Android tablet, a new variant of its Eee Pad Transformer Prime, whose major upgrade is a move to a 1920 x 1200 screen resolution. That makes two Android tablets moving to a 1080p res, following Acer’s Iconia Tab A700. Another significant upgrade is in the tablet’s rear cover design, which has been altered to allow for better GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth performance.
