The numbers of frequent online shoppers in China is double that of the United States and the UK, and is even four times of the European consumer, according to a global leading accounting firm. The survey was conducted by interviewing 7,005 people between August and September last year, including Chinese consumer’s shopping habits. 100 Million Cell Phones Can Extract 1,500 kg of Gold ?

A total of 1,500 kilograms of gold could be salvaged from cell phones thrown away in China each year. Approximately 400 million mobile phones in the world are discarded every year, 100 million of which come from Chinese users. A recent report showed that 150 grams of gold, 100 kg of copper and 3kg of silver can be withdrawn from one ton of discarded cell phones. But only an estimated 3 percent of unused mobile phones are recycled worldwide, and the figure is only 1 percent in China. Dumping cell phones can cause serious damage to the environment. A cell phone battery, for example, can polluted up to 60,000 liters of water. To protect our planet, manufacturers, dealers and consumers should be participate the recycling of cell phones. Nokia has already collected 160 tones of unused phones and related accessories between the year 2005 till 2011.

One of the new HTC “Dragon” series Android handsets is going to release soon in China market. The new HTC T328w has popped up over at the Chinese wireless approvals website, which means it has obtained authorise license for sale. The new Taiwannese smartphone features a 4 inch Super LCD WVGA display and dual-SIM slot. It runs Android 4.0 with Sense 4.0 user interface, power by 1 GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Other specification includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Beats Audio, 5MP rear camera, MicroSD card support and a 1,650 mAh battery. It should cost 1,999 Chinese yuan (US$316) only, with contract plan, pretty cheap and affordable for an ICS handset. The Chinese love dual-SIM function, Samsung has also rolled out a dual SIM Galaxy S II just for the Chinese market. It seem there is not much chance for the HTC T328w to release outside China.
