
Being trapped in a giant floating building with thousands of strangers sounds horrible to me. But I would love to go across the Pacific Ocean on this ship. The cruise is called “China Star”, which can accommodate nearly 400 people (including 200 passengers and 200 crew) across its 172 rooms and 12 floors on a two-day, one-night voyage around the South China Sea. And, it is the first luxury cruiser in mainland China.

About two weeks ago, we reported the NBA legend Michael Jordan filed a lawsuit in China against a Chinese sports brand “Qiaodan Sports” to protect his brand image. And, the Chinese court has finally accepted the case last week, despite Qiaodan Sports said it had not yet received any notice from the court regarding Jordan’s claim and is unclear what the lawsuit entails.

It is completely normal if you have missed out any of ZTE’s newly launched devices at Mobile World Congress Press conference, because the company showed off too many devices. The Asus Padfone made an appearance last May, but we haven’t heard much about it in the time since. Now, Asus has officially launched the device at MWC in Barcelona, and given us a few more details about its ‘phone-tablet-notebook‘ hybrid. Prepare to be surprised by Asus Padfone.

At MWC, HTC just showed off its “Dragon” series smartphones, which is a trio of 4-inch 800×400 Android handsets, each sporting a 5 megapixel camera, a 1GHz single-core processor and Beats Audio, all wrapped up in an Ice Cream Sandwich slathered in Sense 4.0A. We finally see the mystical quad-core phones from Huawei’s announcement today at Mobile World Congress after prior leaked shots exposed last week. It is the D series, stands for Diamond. The series includes three models — D1, D quad and D quad XL. Basically, they all come with very similar specs — running Android 4.0 ICS, including a 4.5 inch display, 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. Among them, D quad seems to be the most impressive model with 3 killer features that you won’t find on iPhone and Galaxy Nexus.

Which of these logos belongs to Air Jordan (also known as Jordans) and which belongs to the Chinese sport brand “Qiaodan”? If you don’t know the answer, then you’ve justified the federal trademark lawsuit Michael Jordan just filed.
Two days ago, Shenzhen held an electronic show named IIC-China which displayed lots of interesting phones and tablets. An iPad knockoff was found, which runs on a dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, but it also contains an ARM Mali-400 MP processor for high performance computing. The tablet has actually appeared at CES this year, however it did not get much attention as it was only running Android 2.3.5 by that time. Check out this beautiful slate after the break…

A Chinese smartphone maker recently plans to launch an Android phone that based on Taiwanese chipset maker MediaTek new Android 4.0-based MT6575 chip. Its QHD huge screen (960×480) is capable of displaying 3-D without the need for a pair of 3D glasses. The hands-on video that we are showing you is only an engineering prototype, and we think it works pretty impressive.
