
Jon Jiang, a Chinese film-obsessed real estate tycoon, has produced a 3D film titled “Empires of the Deep” after costing $130 million and three years of effort. At $130 million, “Empires” is the most expensive Chinese movie ever produced and represents an investment of more than 20% of Jiang’s personal net worth. 900 tents placed in a shape of dragon on a beach in east China’s Shandong Province has set a new Guinness World Record as “the world’s largest and longest tent mosaic dragon”. The dragon occupies an area of 3,421.19 square meters at Qingdao International Golden Beach Camping Festival. All tents will be rented to the tourists during the festival.

The Guinness World Record for the world’s smallest chicken egg may soon shatter by this nano chicken egg in China. It’s 2cm long and weighs 2.60 gram, barely bigger than a China’s ten-cent coin, which is just slightly smaller and lighter than the world’s smallest egg (owned by an American) by 0.1cm long and 0.86 gram. A vocational school in China offers speical course which trains students to become online business owners by setting shop on the consumer e-commerce site, Taobao Marketplace. It says one of the graduates currently has an annual turnover of 10 million yuan (US$1.6 million).
