Finally, a HDMI Adapter For iPad

One thing I don’t like about the iPad is that it does not include HDMI output. I would love to show videos to my friends on their HDTVs from my iPad, by just connecting a HDMI cable. Why Apple doesn’t sell me one and I need to get it from the third parties in China? Well, looks like this HDMI adapter also support my iPhone 4.

Yeah, this HDMI adapter works just like Apple’s VGA adapter. It’s best for HDTVs, but not for projecting movies and presentations. It’s available in two forms, with cord or without cord in between the adapter and the iPad.

You can buy it at Shenzhen, or Chinese online store Taobao, for $280 yuan (about $42). I will try to buy one next week, and let’s see how is it. Please stay tuned…

I wanted to buy this initially till I was warned that iOS updates remove support for these devices – much like the 3 in 1 adapters.
