Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” Gets A Strange Knockoff (video)

You must see this. A poor Chinese construction worker tries his best to dance to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”, while wearing scandals and a safety helmet. His moves are weirdly awesome, and there’s a touching story behind the whole thing. Watch the video after the jump.

The construction worker in the video is dancing to save his girlfriend’s life. This man, Wang AoBang, is 41 years old and comes from Sichuan Province. Wang has a girlfriend who suffered from kidney failure for the past two years, and he needs money to help his sweetheart to go on dialysis every week. In order to go through the treatments, Wang has spent $50,000 yuan (about $7350 USD) and that’s all his savings. So, a student from Beijing helps Wang to shoot this video for fund-raising, hoping someone will donate generously. This is touching.
