The White MacBook Knockoff For Everyone

The white MacBook is a classic from Apple, and we have a knockoff for that in China. It looks like the original, but with less speed, power, and battery life. However, there’s one thing to love, this MacBook knockoff is just $1999 Chinese yuan (about $290).

We have seen pretty much MacBook knockoffs in Shenzhen, the Air and the Pro models are so fascinating. Today, we have a white plastic MacBook knockoff. This bad boy here has something different with the original, it does not features a sleek, sturdy unibody design, it’s just made of cheap plastic. You may get upset with its tech specs, this white MacBook knockoff is powered by an Intel Atom D510 1.66GHz processor with GMA 3150 graphics, includes a 13.3-inch display (1366 X 768), 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA port, LAN port, SD card slot, DVD burner, Wi-Fi, and a removable 4200mAh battery. It also features a chiclet keyboard and it’s pre-loaded with Windows XP…

It does not have a slot-loading SuperDrive, but it gives you a tray-loading DVD burner. Quite ugly.

Here’s some good news. There’s another stronger model for this, packing the Nvidia ION 2 platform and features a HDMI port. So you may or may not love this white MacBook knockoff, but by looking at its price tag which starts from $1999 yuan ($290), it would be the first knockoff product we actually looking forward to pre-order. Anyone wants it?
