Here Comes The Newborn 7-inch Android Tablet

We have seen enough iPad knockoffs, and most of them are not worth to be called as an iPad clone. They are just tablets which are based on Android OS, and this one we seeing here is maybe the best looking one, at least it’s not a knockoff of something.
This 7-inch Android tablet gives you four buttons to press, allowing users to jump to home screen, pop out the menu, navigate backwards, and search for something. The device is powered by the Marvell PXA166 processor, which is an 800MHz chip based on ARM11, and it includes a 7-inch touchscreen display (800 X 480, in 16:9 aspect ratio), 256MB of RAM, 1GB of flash storage, a 4800mAh built-in battery, Wi-Fi, GPS, webcam, accelerometer, micro SD card slot, audio jack, built-in mic and a USB port. Most importantly, it runs Android 1.6 system.

The Android robot appears on the back, representing this tablet is powered by Android.

The device is just 14mm thin and weighs at 400 grams only, included with battery.

A USB port and volume up/down adjust buttons located on the sides.

You can find the power on button, some indicator lights, headphone jack, micro SD card slot and reset button on the top of the device.

The device comes with a stand, but it’s not adjustable.

It does comes with Android 1.6, and it can be upgraded to Android 2.2 in the future, according to the manufacturer.

Here’s how the GPS works.

The home screen.
According to the testing done by Chinese tech site, this Android tablet is not powerful enough to handle 720p HD videos.

Sorry, I can’t accept any other tablets since the iPad has been accompanying me everyday with thousands of apps for me to enjoy. This is the problem, the iPad is sexy, fast, user-friendly, and magical. An Android tablet doesn’t give me these stuff… Well, if you are still interested with this device, it’s not yet available to public and price is unknown.
