Gee, the price has jacked up to 500 Chinese Yuan, which translates to about $73 USD, and the product is NOT even released yet!

I’m afraid of how much it’s actual retail price would be (plus shipping) when it becomes REALLY available in the market — it can double in the period of time between now and the release date of the Apple Peel 520 which means 1,000 Chinese Yuan or roughly $146 USD?!!?!?!?!

But the iPod Touch can easily be had for only $199 USD for the 8GB model. Do the math – that’s a total of $345 USD. And with the bugs, though they might be fixed in the future, it only gives a near iPhone experience but still NOT quite the real thing.

This is not to bash Yosion and its Apple Peel. On the contrary, I believe it’s a good idea and a good product. But they need to keep the price reasonable for the consumers.
