Woah, looks like Apple is getting serious with its gaming platform. According to Xinhua News Agency, Apple is in talks to buy Handseeing Information Technology, a mobile game developer in China.
Well, according to Tian Bo, deputy general manager of Handseeing Information Technology, it seems the two sides are negotiating the deal with talks set to end by next month. That includes the acquisition price (up to USD 150 billion) and other details… Also, several other foreign companies had also showed interest in investing in or cooperating with Handseeing, so Apple may or may not capture this chance. A game engineer at Handseeing said Apple might be seeking to boost its game development capabilities to better prepare for the launch of its game service, Game Center, and cash in on huge business opportunities in China. We’re not sure what Apple is really planning, but it’s good to see that a Chinese online game developer could make some deal with Apple.
