Here Comes The HTC Evo 4G Knockoff

HTC Evo 4G knockoff

HTC Evo 4G is a strong smartphone and the knockoff makers decided to imitate it, however it is not going to have the 4G WiMax with wireless hotspot powers apparently. And it lacks lots of important features…

This HTC Evo 4G KIRF brings us with a display of 4.3-inches (800 x 480), which has the exact same size and resolution as the original one. The CPU and storage are unknown. It does not give you a 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera and HDMI out. Fortunately, it still includes Wifi, GPS and G-sensor.

The knockoff makers replicated the phone completely, the four buttons under the display still exist on this KIRF version. In addition, this KIRF runs Window Mobile 6.5 instead of Android, as Android platform is more expensive (I thought that is open-source?).

Of course, users can’t capture 720p videos with the built-in crappy camera, but it supports auto-focus plus dual LED Flash Light. Price? It is still unknown. Anyway, we’re hoping this KIRF will get some software improvements in the future.

Most knockoff makers couldn't even produce a decent 3G. No way a 4G phone. Probably another 2G+ craps with a look alike casing.

Another difference that you didn’t catch would be the speaker should be on the right and the dual LED lights should be on the left of the phone. Second mistake is LED’s are green not white. I own an EVO and wish I could put windows mobile 7 on it as a dual boot for business applications like office and able to be connected to a projector.
