There’s a Knockoff For Apple’s Products and Website

Dear Apple fanboys, you got to meet QingTing, a Chinese company that copies Apple’s products and website. They have MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad knockoffs which look just like the real stuff. What’s more, they even ripped off Apple wholesale and copied Apple’s website by ’stealing’ the product shots without any approvals from Apple. Luckily, they removed all Apple logos and trademarks.
Okay, you may ask, what’s QingTing doing? Well, they have several iProducts knockoff and they would like to promote them by building a website as nice as Apple. So, they just lift all the images directly from Apple’s and removed the Apple logo and trademarks to avoid any troubles. So, you may call their site as an Apple site knockoff.
Next, their iProduct knockoffs are awesome. By looking at the MacBook Pro knockoff they featured on the site, called the Q Pro, it reminds us the one we have introduced previously on our blog. It’s 14 inch, powered with Atom D510 processor with Nvidia ION2 platform, includes 1GB of RAM (up to 4GB), 160GB hard drive, HDMI port, VGA-out, three USB ports, SD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN port. You can take a look at its specs featured on their site, and more product shots here.

We also got surprised with QingTing’s iMac knockoff, called the Q DT. The product shot looks like the real thing, and it’s powered with ION2 platform, includes a LED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10, HDMI port, SD card slot, one Firewire 800 port and four USB ports. These are the stuff we learned from its product page, and you can check it out at here. According to Gizchina, it cost $3000 Chinese yuan (about $450).

What really catches our attention is the Q Gini which they also featured it on their site. It’s just a netbook, not another iProduct knockoff, but it has pretty looks and acceptable specs. The little laptop is powered with Atom D510 processor with ION2 platform, includes 1GB of RAM (up to 4GB), 160GB hard drive, 11.6 inch LED widescreen display (1366 X 768), HDMI port, VGA-out, three USB ports, a SD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN port. It comes with a 6-cell battery and it only weighs 1.2 kg. Click here to see its full specs and see more product shots at here.

One more thing, QingTing is currently working on its breakthrough product, the Q Pad. It’s not officially available for sale yet, since we only see a “Coming soon” description on its product page. The device will run Q OS, another “special” thing QingTing created their own, we think it’s just an Android OS. Interestingly, QingTing described the Q Pad as “Enjoy the newest playing methods of computers like a dragonfly skimming the surface of the water“. This sounds awkward.
So, the funny thing is that QingTing looks like a lame company that has just copied Apple’s website and products to draw some attention from Apple fanboys, in order to let the outsiders to know the brand quickly. I strongly believe QingTing could be the naughtiest knockoff maker in China, do you think so?
