Taiwanese Mac Mini Pricing Errors

Taiwan Mac Mini

Last week, the Taiwan Apple’s online store for educational purchasers in that country had made a big mistake, they mis-priced the Mac Mini with Snow Leopard Server with an upgraded 8GB of Ram, priced around $19900 NT ($603 USD), as the original price of it is $47710 NT (around $1704 USD), even cheaper than the base model of Mac Mini, with no snow leopard server and only 2GB of RAM. For such error is absolutely not acceptable, this mistake caused a big ferment.

Proper Pricing for a Mac Mini in Taiwanese Apple Store

The threat of fine comes after Apple quietly raised prices to their proper levels for the 200,000 orders placed at the incorrect prices without acknowledging how it plans to address the pricing mistake.

Apple Taiwan’s consumer protection agency officials Wu Zheng-xue said, Apple indicated 41518 of Mac Mini orders received. In the previous week, only two Mac Mini were sold. After the pricing error occurred, orders raise rapidly, it was so surprising. Wu Zheng-xue was unsatisfactory with Apple solution to this incident, however Apple had expressed the sincerity to solve the problem, thus they respect the company’s decision, Apple consumers who are not satisfied with the solution, they can fight for their rights through litigation.
