I can’t say this is an iPad wannabe, but I can call it HP Slate (does it still exist?) knockoff. This device is basically a tablet-PC, packed with netbook-configuration and the big selling point here is the inclusion of Windows 7. Um… maybe it’s not your cup of tea.
This 10-inch slate has a multitouch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor with GMA 3150 graphics, includes Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, a USB port and mini USB socket, a 3.5mm audio jack, VGA-out, and a LAN port. There’s also a mysterious front facing camera which acts as a webcam, maybe you can use that for Skype.
Users can insert their SIM card into this slot, to use the 3G feature.
On the back, you can see the speaker and an Intel logo.
A stand is included in the package.
Looks like the tablet is built-in with accelerometer, allowing users to rotate the screen. We’re not sure with the internal storage and memory of the device, but we’re guessing it comes with 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. For its price tag, it’s still unknown yet and we will keep you updated as soon as the price is revealed.
