Meizu M9 Unboxed In The Wild!

It’s time to introduce the next iPhone 4 killer, like, right now. Here we have plenty of photos of the upcoming Meizu M9 (probably the M8 successor), you get to see what’s inside the box and the UI of the handset, originally posted by Meizu CEO Jack Wong.
The Meizu M9 comes with a 3.6-inch multitouch display (720 X 480), and the device is measuring at 59.5×113x11mm. It supports three types of 3G networks, WCDMA, CDMA and TD-SCDMA. The phone is powered by a 1GHz Samsung C110 processor with 512MB of RAM, includes Android 2.1 OS, 5 megapixel camera (with auto-focus), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro SD card slot. It also has TV-out, and a 1350 mAh battery. For the unboxing shots, they are discovered on the Meizu forum, posted by an unknown member. Some Chinese netizens said these are concept shots, while the others think it’s a prototype device. Well, I think it’s just a well-done photoshop work.
In the pic above, the black one is the M9, while the white one is the old M8.

On the left is M9, on the right is the M8.
Next, before the discovery of these unboxing shots, Meizu CEO Jack Wong has posted two Android UI shots of the M9, to please the Meizu fanboys…

And another two more shots…
The above photo is captured by Jack Wong’s M8, you can check out the full resolution here. Well, by looking at these photos, I believe the M9 would be a strong competitor against the iPhone 4… The phone is available in two colors, and would be available for sale by October. What’s more, Meizu officially announced that customers could get a $1000 rebate with their M8, but this is only for M8 phones which are manufactured before February 18th, 2009… What do you think?
