Chinese Bomb Disposal Robot Is Remote Controlled

This is an explosive-removal robot made-in-china. It’s been ordered to take out “suspected explosives” from a car boot under the remote control of a Chinese policeman. The bot is equipped with a 4-directional cameras and is able to run over various obstacles… Here’s the main point, we think the remote control looks like an arcade machine…

The policeman gets feedback of images taken by the cameras on the explosive-removal robot. Looks quite fun to me!

The bot puts the “suspected explosives” into an explosive-proof tank, and the mission is almost completed…
The whole incident happened in Suzhou, on July 15, 2010.
