Dell Adamo Knockoff: Okay, I Could Want This

We have talked about the Dell Adamo knockoff previously, but this time it comes with better looks and crazy price tag. Get it for just $250.

Exactly the same as the original, it brings you aluminum chassis. However, the display is downsized to 11.6-inch (original is 13.4-inch) and the machine comes with the crappy Atom platform. Powered by Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, it’s definitely something which bothers me to buy it.

The overall appearance looks a bit like Apple’s MacBook Pro. Apple fanboys might like its chiclet keyboard, but the internal hardware is a bit disappointing. It includes 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Wifi, Bluetooth, two USB ports, Ethernet port, webcam and 3G. Too bad, it lacks of a VGA port.

With a 3-cell battery, we guess it has only a maximum of 2 hours of battery life. The look and feel is really great, and for just $1730 Chinese Yuan (about $250), it’s best to buy it as a secondary laptop. [Shanzhaiben]
