Apple is obviously very cautious to define their position at the moment, while HP has clearly expressed their view. Both company have emphasized on strict requirements apply to their supplier. So now, will Steve Jobs and Mark Hurd stand-up to their feet, put more pressure to stop Foxconn on this insane sucide tragedy? please?

According to China Business News report, Apple had already investigated Foxconn in 2006. They found that the overtime work for the workers in Foxconn was excessive, and they request Foxconn to improve employees average working hours. Foxconn and HP had already built up their deep cooperation, from simple OEM relationship, to capital and distribution synergies. 3 years ago, Foxconn had purchased the HP factory plant in Australia, and now following HP, building laptop’s foundry in Chongqing, China.

Meanwhile, Small-scale factories in China are looking for chances to take away Foxconn’s supplied order due to the suicide tragedy.
