The Best Dell Adamo Knockoff Ever

Dell Adamo Knockoff

This Dell Adamo knockoff from Shenzhen claims that it’s the next big thing in the netbook market of China. It’s almost as slim as the original, comes with an aluminium unibody, selling for nearly ten times cheaper than the real one from Dell.

Previously, we had showed you a red color Dell Adamo knockoff and this one you seeing here is probably another version of it. It has almost the same configuration as any netbooks you have seen so far. It’s powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and brings you GMA 950 graphics, this is different with the Red Dell Adamo knockoff which comes with the Pine-trail platform. Instead of the corny 10-inch display, you get an 11.6-inch (1366×768) screen. With 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, you probably need to make some upgrades.

The chiclet keyboard is nicer than the crappy one on the original.

It includes 2 USB ports, a VGA port, Ethernet port, SD-card slot, 3G SIM card slot and Bluetooth. The placement of the ports are similar to the original. Anyway, we hope to see an additional HDMI port.

With a 0.3 megapixel webcam, please don’t expect good video quality from it.

Regarding to its battery life, it only managed to stay awake not more than 2 hours with its 3 cell battery (2400mAh). Not sure if it’s switched on with Wifi.

So, what is the price going to be? We have checked it out and it’s just $1900 RMB (about $280). Available in black only. [Shanzhaiben.com]
