Palm Pre Knockoff For Windows Phone 7

Introducing the QderoPateo Ouidoo, the first Palm Pre knockoff with a decent-looking OS in which you may think it’s Windows Phone 7. Other than its looks, this smartphone claims to have a 26-core CPU which is the power of four iPads, bringing its OS to the 3D social-networking virtual world (Why the hell do I need this ?) Moreover, you will get drooling with its specs configuration too.
You may ask, what’s the big deal of this smartphone since you got an iPhone. Well, it has a very powerful 26-core CPU and a beautiful OS to rule the world. With its Ouidoo OS which looks quite similar to what we have seen on Windows Phone 7, it can convert 2D images to 3D images right on the phone itself. Maybe you will love this or you may not.

The UI here is great, with simplicity and how it works. It sure supports multi-gestures with its 3.5 inch Multi-touch display (800×480). Like an iPhone, it just have one button to portal you back to the home screen. Since this smartphone is aimed for social-networking like the Microsoft Kin, you get some default social apps and even fun games like the ones we are playing on the iPhone. The SDK is still in development and we are hoping to see how it works actually.

The Ouidoo OS it features is maybe a customized Windows Phone 7. We will see what it is capable of when it’s out.
It comes with pretty good specs including 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, 28GB of built-in storage, microSD expansion (support up to 32GB), Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, built-in 3D map, accelerometer, digital compass, 5-megapixel camera with flash, 220 hours of standby battery life, and a sharp 3.5-inch 800 x 480 screen. Not enough? You get a bonus feature of mini-HDMI port which allows you to output 1080p HD videos to your HDTV. Looks pretty amazing.
This awesome QderoPateo Ouidoo is firstly introduced in Shanghai. It has a nickname as the “Environment Smartphone”. The phone is well-prepared for a global launch before the opening day of the Shanghai World Expo. After that, it’s available for sale in two models, one with TD-SCDMA support for China Mobile and the other supporting WCDMA or CDMA2000 for global users. Coming soon on July, the price tag is in between $3000-4000 RMB (about $439-585). The device you seeing here is probably a final prototype. [Engadget Chinese and Sina]
