Thanks to a bunch of budget smartphones revealed in China, more Chinese citizens from rural areas can afford to buy a smartphone. In China, there is about 388 million mobile internet users, up 10% from the start of the year. A report from China Internet Network Information Centre (CINIC) stated over 50% of new Internet users in the country are from rural areas. Will we see some villagers in China using smartphones to check the weathers while farming then?
