The Guinness World Record for the world’s smallest chicken egg may soon shatter by this nano chicken egg in China. It’s 2cm long and weighs 2.60 gram, barely bigger than a China’s ten-cent coin, which is just slightly smaller and lighter than the world’s smallest egg (owned by an American) by 0.1cm long and 0.86 gram. The nano egg was born by a Malaysian bantam in Chongqing in Southwest China, it’s owned by a 55-year-old hairdresser. More photos after the break.

If this nano egg has a baby chicken inside, will it be the smallest chicken in the world?
