Apple’s iPad Mini Knockoff Revealed, Call it The “GooPad Mini”! (Video)

20121024_120803_290

Less than 24 hours, Apple’s newly launched iPad Mini has cloned by the Chinese maker. It’s dubbed as “GooPad mini”. This mini tablet will feature a 8-inch display with 1024 x 768 resolution, which should look very close to an iPad mini. Furthermore, it will run Android 4.1 Jelly bean, which is said to be heavily skinned to look and feel just like Apple’s iOS 6. The best part? It only costs $99! It will launch in November as well as Apple’s iPad Mini.

The device is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 8GB of RAM storage. It won’t come with a 720p-capable 1.2MP front-facing shooter and a 5.0MP rear camera like the iPad mini. The source said the clone will be have an aluminium slim body, but it didn’t mention how thick it is going to be. Also, it’s WiFi only. Hey Apple, have you patented the iPad mini’s design in China yet? Don’t let it happen again like last time with the Goophone i5.

After all, why would you want to buy Apple’s iPad Mini?

Love commenters who know more than Apple does about its business. Obviously they are used to Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, none of whom know how to make dollar number 1 off of hardware in this arena. Please, they could really use the advice.

  • Just a Admin

Love commenters who love apple products all over without seeing any problems.

I know something about of apple products and apple related problems, because i am a apple admin in company which uses apple products as well with windows workstations.

Apple might work fine in home, but poorly in company environment.

Don’t you mean 8GB of storage? Not RAM? Because 8 gigs would be something for fairly powerful desktops…
