During the China national holiday, a young man has been compensated for damage to his iPhone 4 after it was snatched by a monkey in a monkey park in Benxi, Liaoning Province, northeast China. The Mischievoust monkey escaped from its cage in the park to beg for food among the thick crowds of tourists. When visitors began feeding the monkey, the young man took out his Apple gadget to take pictures of the scene. When the monkey heard the shutter sound effect from the camera phone, it rushed toward the man and grabbed away the iPhone 4 before returning to its cage …
Park employees were called to help, and they began trying to convince the monkey to give back the phone. The monkey tried to bite the iPhone 4 and suddenly released it, sending the gadget down a more than 10-meter drop before it hit the ground. The phone shattered into pieces and the park has decided to compensate the loss. The reimbursement has been paid in full amount to the man. The cage was subsequently repaired to prevent any further monkey mischief. We are wondering any travel insurance will cover this kind of unexpected incident.
