The Xiaomi Phone 2, a Chinese-branded high-end smartphone that aims to challenge the iPhone’s market share in China, was announced recently in China and is ready to go-on-sale this month. So you may wonder, how does this Chinese phone take on the iPhone 5? Well, watch the video below, and you will know who’s the winner.

First, here are the two main features of Xiaomi Phone 2: The Chinese-branded phone is powered by a 28nm, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor (world’s first phone to market with this chip), and comes with 2GB of RAM.

After watching the video above, we can see that the iPhone 5’s shutter is essentially lag-free, and it responds like a semi automatic AK-47 that gives extremely fast rate of fire. The Xiaomi Phone 2 also allows the user to take photos with nearly no shutter lag, however, we can see that it performs slower than the iPhone 5.

Next, taking a HDR photo. The power of the new A6 processor greatly helps the iPhone 5 on taking photos in HDR mode.
