More pictures of the upcoming iPad mini have surfaced online, hinting that Apple’s much-anticipated smaller tablet will at least have 3G wireless connection. Last few days, Russian-language website UkrainianiPhone has posted purported photos of the 7.85-inch tablet that reveals a nano-SIM located on the side of the device case, which means it will likely come in 3G models. Now, new mock-up pictures appeared from Taiwan media, showing a black cellular band that is overlays the top of the back of the mini iPad. This plastic shield is certainly for the 3G modem and we beg it will also support the latest 4G LTE. Just knowing you can have a data connection virtually anywhere makes the smaller iPad instantly more useful as a go-to connected device, compare to the big iPad. This will be an advantage while comparing to the Google Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD. What we have to concern is the battery life and price range. US$399 ? One more picture after the break.
