Sichuan’s Face Changing Mask Performing Art at Underwater (Video)

Face changing act is an ancient Chinese dramatic art that is part of the more general Sichuan opera. Performers wear brightly colored costumes and move to quick, dramatic music. Performers wear vividly colored masks, they wave their arms and twist their heads, and their so-called painted masks change repeatedly. A lot of westerner are impressed on this traditional Chinese magic performance. Now the act has shifted underwater, where the water pressure might be a great challenge for the performer. The Sichuan’s face changing performing art at underwater is now performing at Fuzhou’s ocean park, located in northern China.
