You Need to Pay 50,000 Chinese Renminbi to Hands-on With iPhone 5 Parts for 24 Hours

iPhone 5? The new iPhone? Whatever it is, we know Apple is going to announce their new iPhone soon, and the leaked iPhone 5 part that features a two-tone, elongated unibody design actually cost nearly 50,000 Chinese Renminbi (about $7,878) if you want to rent it for 24 hours for some hands-on treatment, according to Chinese media NetEase. Check out more photos of the pricey leaked iPhone 5 body after the break.

Alright, here’s the story. Chinese media NetEase has got a gallery of hands-on shots of the next-generation iPhone, and it seems like they had a hard time getting the leaked iPhone body featuring new dock connector port, bottom headphone jack, drilled holes and lengthened body. According to NetEase,

“This leaked new iPhone case has been spreading throughout the Shenzhen iPhone case industry for some time, and taking a peek at it will cost you money. If you want to take it away for 24 hours, it will cost you nearly 50,000 Chinese yuan,”

Well, at least we know it’s not easy to get one of these iPhone 5 parts. At the meantime, we don’t know for sure if this is truly the next-generation iPhone, but now we’re just waiting for Apple to officially lift the curtain on September 12th. Getting excited huh?
