Walking Tour of OPPO Store, The Place Where The “World’s Thinnest Phone” is Found

asdfw

We took a visit to one of the OPPO stores in China recently, and we think it would be a good idea to share with you guys of how a Chinese smartphone brand design and build their flagship stores in China. Of course, OPPO Finder, the world’s thinnest phone is already in store for quick hands-on. Check out more about the store after the break.

The device on the right is OPPO Finder, where the other one is its predecessor OPPO Find 3. The build quality of both phones are unexpectedly good, we did not believe it until we actually held the device in our hands. Unlike Meizu and Xiaomi, its chassis is made by metallic materials, feels pretty solid in the hands. It is a quality product.

Once we stepped into the store, there’s a big screen playing various advertisementsf.

OPPO Finder is selling at 2,498 yuan ($403), which will come with a pair of headphone, a casing and a screen protector.

Advertisements of OPPO Finder can be seen everywhere within the store.

IMG_1317

Just like most other Chinese smartphone retailers, most of their products are stored in the display cabinet.

There’re chairs surround the display cabinet.

There’s headphone for customers to test out the audio performance of the phones. Before OPPO started to focus on making smartphones, they used to be the leader of making MP3 players and Portable Media players in China.

OPPO has produced roughly around 42 phones in the store. Except the Find series that we’re familiar of, the rest of the devices seem very new to us. It is quite amazing to see OPPO actually has made that many phones.

IMG_1341

That’s the OPPO Finder! We really like it. It’s very thin, but not very slippy when trying to press the buttons on the sides. The device works very well. It will lag when many apps are running in the background, but that’s usual.

It’s a all-in-one desktop that made by a Chinese company called Tong Fang.

A variety of accessories are hanged on the wall for sales.

They have got battery selling at 158 Chinese yuan ($25).

Although the store is pretty small, it does have a leisure space for customers to take a rest.

There’s WiFi!

A hiring notice from OPPO

IMG_1351

OPPO is offering monthly salary of 2,500-5,000 RMB ($403 – $806) to hire salesman. Interestingly, OPPO’s offering is somewhat higher than what Meizu could offer. The minimum wage for a Meizu’s salesman is just at 1,800 yuan ($290).

And that’s the entire tour of the OPPO store. We have a positive feeling that OPPO is going to bring us more brilliant products like Meizu and Xiaomi.
