Xiaomi Releases a Radio-control Car for Android and iPhone

front

Xiaomi, the China’s hottest smartphone company, has just released a radio-control toy car for Android smartphone and Apple’s i-devices. Xiaomi first Android smartphone, the MI-One, has sold more than 3 million and counting. The phone is red-hot in China right now. The company latest toy gadget is in red-hot color too. Xiaomi provides a dedicated app to control the car, it uses wifi signal, and the controlling distance can reach up to 20 meters. It’s a 4-wheel-drive buggy with independent suspension, comes with full ball bearing, the size is slightly larger than your Apple keyboard. The internal battery can run for about 30 minutes, it can be recharge through USB cable …

Xiaomi called their red-hot toy as ‘Phone flying car’ (Chinese translated), it is selling for 299 yuan (US$46) through the company online store. We actually got two surprise here. Xiaomi is now in the toy business with tech integration, and the company is even able to produce app for Apple’s iOS. It is rather exceptional for a smartphone company which does not attend to their proper duties on making phones and software. Rather than relying on Xioami phone and MIUI as its main source of revenue, Xiaomi is now planning to make some unexpected money from making interesting big boy’s gadget. Meanwhile, the first shipment of Xiaomi’s ‘Phone flying car’ has been quickly sold-out.
