14-inch MacBook Air Knockoff

Seems like we had missed out some important information of the 14 inch MacBook Air clone last time. Here’s the real working machine which really features a 14-inch display and maybe bundled with Snow Leopard. You heard me, it might come with Snow Leopard and a price tag of $2800 RMB (about $410).

According to the official spec sheet, this 14 inch MacBook Air knockoff comes with either Linux or Windows, so we are not so sure whether it will come with Snow Leopard 10.6.3 too. And, it is powered by the old 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and GMA 950 graphics, comes with 1GB of RAM (support up to 2GB), a 160GB hard drive. It also got Wi-Fi and a 1.3 mega-pixels webcam.

The laptop is equipped with 2 USB2.0 ports, 3G SIM card slot and HDMI port. Still, it has stereo speakers, audio line in and audio line out.

What makes it cool is its aluminium body and weight. This knockoff only weighs about 3 pounds (including battery).

It uses a 4-cell replaceable battery which can last for at least 2 hours.

Surprisingly, there is no logo on it, all you can see is just a plain silver color shell. Moreover, you can actually get one with colored red or black. Too bad, we have no pics of how it looks like with other colors.

It’s getting ready for sale with a price tag of $2800RMB ($400), and also $2600RMB ($371) for a 13.3 inch. Will Steve Jobs allows it to be put on shelves with Snow Leopard ? [GizChina and DianJi]
